The FP series Multivator is designed for the medium to large grower, heavier soil conditons, and even some strip tilling applications.  One row FP models (two heads) are popular with market farm operations, due to the ease with which the heads can be moved on the toolbar to cultivate a wide variety of crops.  If you plant with a single row planter, then a single row Multivator is the best choice.

 The FP, FPA and FPXA are similar mechanically. but the FPA and FPXA have a higher crop clearance than the FP.  Ground clearance under the hex drive shaft is 20" on the FP series, 25" on the FPA series, and 32" on the FPXA series.  Note: FPXA series machines require high clearance tractors to operate.
