You would expect the company with the first name in post drivers to offer a full range of post hole diggers as well.  Shaver has been manufacturing post hole diggers for many years.  In today's competitive market place the Shaver post hole digger stands out for quality and affordability.

Shaver offers a broad range of tractor mounted, PTO powered diggers.  The "scaled down" 101 model will fit most sub compact tractors.  The 301 and 601 models will fit most compact and utility tractors.  The 301 will handle augers up to 14" in diameter.  The 601 will handle augers up to 24" in diameter.  At the top end is the 901 digger.  This is an extreme duty digger that will handle augers up to 30" wide.  That is an extremely large auger!

In addition to these PTO powered models, Shaver makes two hydraulically powered auger drives.  These drives can be mounted on a tractor 3 point boom, a tractor front- end loader, or a skid steer mounting plate.

Auger sizes range from 4" diameter for drilling pilot holes, up to 30" diameter.  Most Shaver augers have semi-double flighting, making for a more economical bit.  Full double flighting is also available, making for quicker hole clean out.  Nursery augers with two stage flighting are essential for planting trees and nursery stock.

For difficult digging conditions a down pressure kit can be added to help push the auger into the ground.
