The name Shaver has been synonymous with post drivers and fencing equipment for many years. Shaver invented and patented the worlds first post driver more than half a century ago. Through continous product enhancements, both in functionality and safety, Shaver has maintained their industry leading position as the premier name in post drivers and other fencing equipment. As with all Shaver products, the Stumpbuster delivers functional performance at a very attractive price. Every Shaver Stumpbuster is equipped with a 3/4" thick steel cutting wheel and carbide teeth.
Two models are offered to fit different size tractors and skid steers. The main difference between these two models is the cutting depth below ground level that can be achieved with the grinding wheel. On the tractor mounted Stumpbuster, the grinding operation is powered by the tractor PTO. A hydraulic cylinder controls depth and swing operations. On the skid steer mounted unit, an electric over hydraulic power system controls the grinding operation and swing cylinder.
